Citizens Bank Selects BankServ for Fedwire Processing

SAN FRANCISCO, March 26, 2008 — BankServ, worldwide experts in electronic payments, today announced that Citizens Business Bank of Ontario, CA, is fully up and running with BankServ's Global Funds Exchange (GFX) Service Bureau. Citizens Business Bank, the 12th-largest bank in California with assets of over $6 billion, joined the GFX family of banks on February 26.

Citizens Business Bank had been in the market for a flexible and scalable Fedwire payments system to meet their high-volume wire demands and customer service needs. BankServ’s GFX software, which automates the domestic wire transfer process and includes real-time connectivity to the Federal Reserve's Fedwire network, was the ideal solution for Citizens. By choosing BankServ's Service Bureau option, Citizens was able to quickly implement GFX and connect to the Fedwire network with minimal IT requirements.
