Press Release

BankServ Still Operational After Terrorists Strike Near London Offices

July 7, 2005 - London - In the aftermath of today's deadly attacks in London, BankServ International would like to reassure our clients that our network has remained intact, and that service to all of our customers around the globe will continue uninterrupted. Although two of the explosions occurred within 400 yards of BankServ's London support center, thankfully, none of our employees were harmed, and our operations were able to continue as normal.

No one can predict if and when such events as today's will occur - and indeed, the proximity of the attacks to our London office underscores that uncertainty. "Our staff were magnificent," said Gareth Johnson, Head of Operations in London. "They carried on in a calm and controlled manner, although I am sure the reality hit them when they finally made it home tonight."

"However, had we been less fortunate and been unable to get sufficient staff into our offices, our contingency plan would have kicked in and we would have supported our worldwide customer base from our San Francisco Head Office. The sad reality is that since September 11, business continuity planning is no longer in a different city or a different country; it has to be in a different continent."

Reliability under any circumstances has been the cornerstone of BankServ's business model since its inception, and our use of a secure and redundant system has ensured the same quality of service no matter what the situation. After the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, we were able to help one BankServ client - whose main office had been located in the World Trade Center - get back up and running by the next day. The response on that tragic day remains our benchmark for reliability and support, and we remain committed to providing the same in these difficult times.

We understand that today's events have likely caused confusion and distress among our affected customers, but once again reassure you that your financial transactions remain secure and uninterrupted.
