BANKSERV SIGNS UP TWO NEW CLIENTS FOR GLOBAL FUNDS EXCHANGE (GFX)

Fargo's Community First Service Corp. and Houston's Riverway Bank

June 28, 1999 - SAN FRANCISCO, CA — BankServ, a leading provider of software and outsourcing services to the banking, retailing and financial services industries, has signed new licensing agreements with Community First Service Corp., of Fargo, N.D., and Riverway Bank, of Houston.

Both institutions signed multi-year agreements for use of BankServ's Global Funds Exchange (GFX) wire transfer software. Monetary terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

GFX is designed to improve automation of a bank or financial institution's wire-transfer operations. With GFX, users can originate domestic and foreign funds transfers and monitor related activity automatically, with minimal operator intervention. GFX also includes automated Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) screening, is Y2K compliant and can be linked to a low-cost Internet cash management service hosted by BankServ.
