TurboRMA testing begins this month
Starting in early September, a new version of TurboSwift will begin a pilot
program to ensure readiness for its scheduled release later this year. The new software was developed to meet the requirements of the SWIFTNet Phase 2 changes that will occur in early 2007.

TurboRMA, a new addition to BankServ’s Turbo system, will enable
compatibility with SWIFT’s Network’s Relationship Management Application (RMA) standard. TurboRMA can be installed directly onto the TurboSwift Application
server, or can be deployed separately and connect to TurboSwift and TurboGateway via IP socket connections.

TurboRMA will be available through regional distributors for a one-time charge, with a small additional fee for each additional BIC-8 that may be required. The initial setup allows the use of TurboRMA in up to three installations of TurboSwift (production/DR/test), and any further licenses can be purchased for additional computers during the same installation. RMA training courses will be provided by Bankserv to assist with migration and implementation. For those requiring further information, a detailed FAQ on the TurboRMA product will be available soon on our FTP site.

Swift II readiness for WebSphere software
TurboSwift can now import SWIFT II format messages from IBM’s WebSphere MQ (Formerly MQ Series) middleware, allowing enhanced
security, flexibility and reliability for inter-system message transfer.
In-house systems that use WebSphere MQ can now be standardized with TurboSwift, and the existing AIB header layout can now be used in
conjunction with WebSphere MQ for a simple migration to WebSphere MQ for customers already producing AIB format. Furthermore, the software also supports imported TELEX messages. Contact ts.europe@bankserv.com for further information.
